Mathura: The Sanatan Hindu Unity Padyatra 2025, led by Bageshwar Dham seer Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, has been receiving massive public support since it began on November 7 from the sacred Chhattarpur Temple in Delhi. The journey will culminate on November 16 at the famous Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, drawing huge crowds and notable celebrity participation.
Star-Studded Participation
Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav joined the march, urging everyone to remain aware of their faith and devotion to God. “We are all performing God’s work. This padyatra is an effort to unite Hindus, which is why I am here,” he said.
The march also saw participation from Indian wrestler The Great Khali and former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. Dhawan expressed his joy, stating, “There is immense strength in unity. For a strong India, Hindus must come together.”
Spiritual Leaders and Celebrities at Vrindavan
As the padyatra enters the Braj region, several saints are joining to bless the procession. On the final day, November 16, Dhirendra Shastri will visit Banke Bihari Temple alongside Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Rajpal Yadav. Acharya Mridulkant Shastri of Vrindavan commented that this padyatra will ignite a flame of devotion that will be difficult to extinguish, and the local saints are always ready to support the cause. There is also a possibility of Baba Ramdev attending the event.
Security and Crowd Management
Due to high expected turnout, only 500 people will be allowed to enter Banke Bihari Temple during the padyatra’s Vrindavan entry. Authorities have permitted special access from Chhati Kara, considering Sunday is a holiday. Significant traffic diversions will be in place in Vrindavan to manage the crowd.
The Sanatan Hindu Unity Padyatra continues to gain momentum, highlighting efforts to unite the Hindu community while drawing prominent personalities and widespread public attention.
