The oath-taking ceremony was held at Patna’s iconic Gandhi Maidan, where 26 newly appointed ministers also took oath alongside him. Nitish Kumar, now 74, first became Chief Minister in the year 2000. Although his first government fell within eight days, he returned to power in 2005 and remained at the helm until 2014.
